Communication and instructions are done via SLACK. 

The dogs travel by truck from Tennessee. They can be at the border first thing in the morning. Pick-up is approximately 2 hours after crossing the border. Our CHR intake coordinator will let you know once they’ve cleared customs.

The time really varies with the border/traffic so we really have no idea how long it could take for them to get through. Please be available as early as 10am, but also be flexible as it could be later, or a little earlier! Meet-up location is disclosed in SLACK

Please come to the Meet-up location and we will post in the SLACK channel when your dog is getting ready! 

The dog pick-up location is a very small, dead-end street so it’s best to wait at the meet-up spot until our dogs are unloaded to avoid congestion. We provide the transport team with your dog’s collar, harness, trackers and leashes so that they can get them ready to go as they unload. The dog’s are given a quick pee-break, and then loaded into your vehicle. 

We will be at the pick up station and once your dog is ready, we will message for you to come down and then help you load the dog and supplies into your vehicle. We update throughout the day so please keep an eye out for updated arrival times!
