Could you tell us about their experience? Does the applicant live in a house, condo, apt? Is there a yard, with or without a fence? What makes their accommodation suitable for a pet? Does the applicant have any children? What are their ages? Do you feel they are dog/cat savvy? Does the applicant currently have any pets? If so, could you tell us about them? Do they; sleep indoors/outdoors? Working animal, family member/therapy dog? Is a crate used? Do they get the proper amount of walks, stimulation, training, nourishment, and enrichment? What would you say the applicants overall dog knowledge is? Poor, Some knowledge, Experienced Does the applicant travel a lot? When they do travel, what are the arrangements made for the pet if they do not go with them? What is your overall opinion of the applicant as a pet owner? Would you trust the applicant with your pets if you have them? Fostering is unpredictable and challenging. How do you think the applicant would handle the stressful situation?
